Fireworks can only be discharged on July 4th between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and midnight in unincorporated King County.
Fireworks are banned altogether in many cities in King County (see Regulations for King County Cities) below. School grounds, parks, and some apartment complexes may also prohibit the discharge of fireworks.
To protect citizens and property, King County Fire District 40 encourages members of the community to celebrate by attending a puclic fireworks display.
